When the people side of your business starts taking too much of your time

I work with founder-led product businesses as a business and team strategist - helping you create clearer structure, better communication and stronger ways of working, while bringing an outside perspective to the things that have simply grown that way over time.

If this sounds familiar

You spend more time than you should dealing with people issues, tensions and team dynamics.

Roles have blurred, expectations are unclear and too much still comes back to you.

Meetings eat into the week, but still leave people confused about what happens next.

You have added more people , but not necessarily more clarity, consistency or ease.

I help founder-led product businesses create clearer structure, better communication and stronger ways of working, so the team functions better and you get more time and headspace for the work only you can do.

Here's what changes

More clarity across the team

Roles are clearer, expectations are understood, and people are not second-guessing where things sit or who owns what.

Less bottlenecking through you

Better structure and communication mean fewer decisions, questions and tensions landing back on your desk.

More headspace for the bigger picture

You get more room to focus on the parts of the business that really need you, instead of being dragged into every people issue and process snag.

Born from passion.

Consumed by the business of running it

You built this business from passion and hard work because you cared enough to make it succeed. But what nobody really prepares you for is the other side of success: managing people, dealing with team tensions, sitting in more meetings than you ever imagined and trying to keep very different personalities all moving in the same direction.

Somewhere along the way, you found yourself spending more and more of your time on the people side of the business – handling issues, smoothing over friction, answering questions and holding things together – and less time on the work you are best at and enjoy most.

That can be demoralising. When standards live mainly in your head, when parts of the team pull in different directions and when the day-to-day depends heavily on your presence, it is hard to find the headspace to think clearly about where the business is going next.

I have spent years working with founders on exactly this: the people structures, conversations and ways of working that sit between you and your team. My work – and the book I wrote for founders who never planned to be leaders – exists because this pattern repeats itself everywhere: capable, visionary founders carrying too much of the people side of the business on their own shoulders, so that your team and your ways of working support the direction you want the business to go, instead of quietly getting in the way of it.

What My Clients Say

Claudia has been an incredible support in my journey not only as a business owner but also as a leader. Having never led a team before I was at a loss and nervous how to ensure I was the best leader I could be. A massive thank you Claudia. I would highly recommend Claudia to anyone.

Jen H.
Managing Director

Claudia's coaching has been instrumental in me growing my business, every meeting has resulted in new processes to gain more leads & cut down on admin hours. Claudia is an excellent business coach and one of the nicest people you'll meet.

Martin S.
CEO & Founder

I’ve have attended a couple of business coaching workshops run and hosted by Claudia now and can’t recommend them enough. Just in a few workshops I’ve learned so much about planning the growth on my business and also putting strategies in place to help me work more efficiently to allow me to take more time away from my desk and enjoy more my life more. All this without it affecting my business. In fact the strategies may well mean I actually grow more while spending less time physically working.

Dean K.
Managing Director

Life would have been a lot easier had I followed Claudia's steps a few years ago. She is great with creative minds who find themselves in an ‘accidental’ management role in the workplace.

Melinda N.
Business Owner

Claudia is a great partner for entrepreneurs who have stumbled into leadership but feel uncertain about their role. She provides not just a method, but a mindset shift for taking control of your business and becoming the leader your team needs.

Want to be THE boss, not just A boss? Then Claudia is the right guide for you.

Here's how it works

Initial Conversation

We start with a 30‑minute call to understand what is going on in your business right now: where your time is being pulled, where the people side feels heavy and what you would most like to see change. It is a straightforward conversation about your reality, not a hard sell.

Understanding how things work

Next, we take a clear, honest look at how your team is currently set up: roles and responsibilities, communication, meeting culture, decision‑making and any tensions between locations or functions. Together we identify the patterns, gaps and “we’ve always done it this way” habits that are getting in the way.

Putting ongoing support in place

From there, we agree a simple, rolling way of working together. That might include regular sessions with you as a sounding board, work with your managers or team and practical changes to structure and ways of working - all focused on making the people side lighter, clearer and more effective without everything landing back on you.

If any of this sounds familiar, let's talk

If the people side of the business is taking more of your time, energy and headspace than it should, you are not alone. This is a common pressure point for founder-led businesses, especially when the team has grown faster than the structure around it.

The good news is that it can change. With the right outside perspective, clearer ways of working and practical support, the team can function better, day to day management can feel lighter, and you can stop carrying quite so much of it on your own.

If that sounds like the kind of support you’ve been missing, the next step is a straightforward 30-minute conversation.
